Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Public Affairs Graduate Programs
This report is the product of a Capstone course within Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) Master of Public Affairs (MPA) programs, one of the programs accredited by the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA). Capstone courses represent the culmination of a graduate course of study in many NASPAA accredited MPA programs. The courses provide students with the opportunity to apply the knowledge and skills they have gained during their course of study to a professional project. Client organizations assess and critique students’ work to help familiarize them with the post-graduation work environment. For this Capstone project, our team worked to develop a research-based document for use by NASPAA and the Public Policy and International Affairs program (PPIA).
