Friday, February 23rd, evening reception address:

The reception will be from 18:00-20:00 Local Time.

Saturday, February 24th, competition address:

Location:  IT Print Zone         

Address:    5th floor, Library Building, NSU            

Meetup Room:   IT/ Library 

Prize distribution : SHSS Dean's Conference Room/ Syndicate Hall, NSU             

The competition will be from 09:00  - 17:00 Local Time.

Hotel recommendations:

NSU is located at Bashundhara Residential Area, Dhaka. There are hotels in nearby places of Banani, Gulshan and Baridhara which can take approximately 20 minutes from the campus. Besides, serviced apartments are also available inside Bashundhara (walking distance from NSU) which might cost BDT 3,000-5,000 (USD 35-55) per room per night and can be accessed through Air BNB. There are several Hotels adjacent to Bashundhara R/A such as Hotel Pragati Inn, Asia Pacific Hotel, etc. The prices might be in between BDT 3,000-7,000 (USD 35-75) per room per night. The distance will be 1-3 kilometers from Bashundhara R/A. The participants may book the service apartments/hotels by themselves through Booking.com, Agoda.com, Hotels.com etc.

Visa requirements:

The travelers must have a valid visa before entering Bangladesh. The visa requirement depends on the Nationality. There are some on arrival visa facilities for some countries (EU, USA, Canada etc.). For details students must have to contact the Embassy of Bangladesh in their respective countries well ahead of the trip. SIPG will be happy to provide invitation letter to the students for their visa application for the sim competition.
