We are excited to announce the appointment of Dr. Madinah F. Hamidullah as Chair of the Commission on Peer Review and Accreditation (COPRA) for the 2025-2026 term. Dr. Hamidullah, who has been a valued member of the Commission since 2023, brings extensive expertise and experience in advancing public service programs. We are thrilled that she has accepted this role and look forward to her continued contributions to the public service education community.

Madinah F. Hamidullah, Ph.D., is Professor of Public Administration and Director of the Master of Public Administration Program at Kennesaw State University. Her career centers on preparing the next generation of public and nonprofit leaders and ensuring that public affairs remains a first-choice discipline for the best and brightest students.

She has designed and scaled innovative programs across the undergraduate, and graduate levels, including accelerated BA/MPA pathways, dual degrees, and online offerings. Her work broadens access for working professionals and students from varied backgrounds at all levels of education. A dedicated mentor, she supports students through research, service learning, and community partnerships that expand opportunities for scholarship, professional growth, and career advancement.

Nationally, Dr. Hamidullah has advanced access and belonging in public affairs education and strengthened pathways to graduate study through leadership roles with the Network of Schools of Public Policy, Affairs, and Administration (NASPAA), and the Association for Research on Nonprofit Organizations and Voluntary Action (ARNOVA). She previously served a three-year term on COPRA.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from the University of Georgia.
