NASPAA at the 2026 CHEA Annual Conference

NASPAA was proud to be represented at the 2026 ​Council of Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)​ Conference, themed “Leading with Integrity in a Shifting Landscape – Innovation, Accountability, and the Future of Accreditation.” Fabiola Bachinelo, NASPAA’s Chief Accreditation Officer, joined accreditors and higher education leaders from across the globe for timely and thought-provoking discussions on values-based leadership, regulatory change, student outcomes, innovation​, and accountability in accreditation.

The conference highlighted the importance of leading with integrity while navigating change​. Conversations throughout the event reinforced the central role accreditation plays in supporting quality, transparency, and student success. Equally valuable was the opportunity to gather with peers across the accreditation community. CHEA convenings provide a vital forum for accreditors to connect, share perspectives, and learn from one another, strengthening relationships and collaboration in service of a more responsive and effective accreditation ecosystem.
