Cantor's World: A Journey Toward Sustainability    

Cantor's World is a gaming simulation and teaching aid for students and policy makers to learn how the Inclusive Wealth Index (IWI) complements other indices. The game allows players to experiment with different policy choices and experience first hand the tug-of-war between short-term results and long-term sustainability.

Bharath Moro, Fields of View, Bangalore

Bharath Moro is a researcher at Fields of View. He is presently working on designing large scale agent based simulation platforms in the energy and public transport domains. Before turning a researcher, he led technology and design at a successful travel marketplace startup. Harsha Krishna, Fields of View, Bangalore

Harsha K graduated from the International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore. He has designed and built agent based simulations to model urbanisation in Indian cities. He has also designed similar simulations for modelling public transportation in Bangalore. He has also been working with his colleagues to develop games in the field of public transport. His current research interests include methodologies to model complex adaptive systems, cities and urban systems. harsha@fieldsofview.in

 

Palmira N. Ríos, University of Puerto Rico Palmira is an Afro-Puerto Rican academic who has worked as a professor in New York, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico. She has served as a commissioner and president of the Puerto Rican Civil Rights Commission, the first person of color or woman to be appointed to the government body. After serving as the dean of the Graduate School of Public Administration for the University of Puerto Rico, she became the Dean of Academic Affairs for the Río Piedras Campus in 2015. The Bar Association of Puerto Rico honored Ríos with the Martin Luther King Jr.-Arturo Alfonso Schomburg Medal for her efforts to promote racial equality. Read more
