2023 Sim Site Winners
Join us in congratulating all of our NASPAA Regional Site Winners and of course our Super Global Judge Round Winners!
The 2023 NASPAA Simulation Competition has been an amazing success!
The competition was completed at all 12 of our sites on February 25th, March 4th and March 11th, as well as at two beta sites on February 4th and February 11th. Graduate students from all over the world experienced a unique and educational challenge in which they took on the roles of key decision-makers responsible for solving a real public service challenge. Students developed their skills in public communication and inclusive decision-making to implement equitable policy decisions for a diverse community. All this happens in a controlled, simulated scenario so that students can practice dealing with these pressures before being faced with them in their careers.
If you are interested in hosting the competition at your school, becoming a sponsor, or just learning more about the competition, please contact Alex Minkoff at minkoff@naspaa.org and Stacy Drudy at drudy@naspaa.org.
Global Super Round Winners
NASPAA is pleased to announce the winning teams from the Super Global Judge Round. All the site winners did exceedingly well and our judges were extremely impressed with what they saw. It's always hard to pick the winners, so this year each team's Super Global Judge Round score was based on their computerized simulation score and evaluation of their final presentation and policy memo. Congratulations to our winners! Be on the lookout for the post-competition program flip book with a special look at this year's competition, as well as guidance on how your school can get involved in simulation education.
