“I entered the public field, in general, because I knew the necessity of government and wanted to help disprove the negative perception that almost always goes with it. I've always felt that I could make a difference in changing the perception of government by putting a good face on it, showing honesty and integrity, and being true to the mission of serving the public good”.

Rebecca E. Fleischaker graduated in 1997 with a Masters in Public Administration from the Martin School of Public Policy at the University of Kentucky. Rebecca’s emphasis within the MPA program was Urban and Regional Management. Since graduating, Rebecca has been working as the Public Relations Specialist in the Office of the Mayor for the City of Louisville, Kentucky.
