Debra Brooks Feazelle serves as city manager of La Porte, Texas, having previously served for eight years as assistant city manager then deputy city manager of Lubbock, Texas. She previously served on the board of directors of the Government Finance Officers Association and has published several articles and served as an adjunct instructor in government finance. She began her career as an accounting supervisor in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She is a Certified Government Finance Officer of Texas and the recipient of a number of awards including the Outstanding MPA Alumna for UNT in 1993.
