NASPAA-APPAM DOCTORAL WORKSHOP 2009

we are pleased to share with all NASPAA member schools the exciting news concerning the next NASPAA-APPAM DOCTORAL WORKSHOP. It will be: 
Friday and Saturday, February 20 – 21, 2009 in Baltimore, Maryland. The University of Maryland-Baltimore County is hosting.

Watch for more information about this meeting in the months to come, but for now, please Save the Date! 

The planning committee for the workshop is hoping for the widest possible participation in this event. As you may be aware, the recent National Research Council decennial study of doctoral programs for the first time ever included both the Ph.D. in Public Policy and the Ph.D. in Public Administration (essentially as in the same category). There will be opportunities for the academic leaders of both types of programs to learn from each other during the workshop. The workshop will be an excellent forum to consider how these issues impact your degree programs (present and future).
