NASPAA Partners
with YouTube Allowing Member Schools to Share & Show Videos
We have exciting news that we believe can directly benefit your program in terms of recruiting, marketing and web branding.
NASPAA was recently awarded the opportunity to become an “Enhanced’ channel on You Tube. This gives us the power, presence and flexibility to air, share and show more videos. This lets us reach more audiences with our MPA/MPP content and public service message!
You can see the current MPA/MPP You Tube site including Prospective Student
How can this assist you and your school? It’s a strong opportunity to promote your program, faculty, students, and alumni. Plus it’s free.
If you have any of the following on video please share with us:
-Faculty who have videotaped lectures they are willing to share with the public
-Videos relating to class, curriculum or a school project
-Guest speakers who’ve spoken at your school. Special lecturers occurring this year.
-Promotional videos about your school, program, degree etc
-Successful Alumni. (What are your alums doing in their career and how did their degree help them)
*** Please note that video needs be 300MB or less in size which should permit most items you would have.
For proper video formats please read: http://www.google.com/support/youtube/bin/answer.py?answer=55744&topic=10526.
P.S. This article from the Washington Post gives examples of schools that are sharing class content with others and why they think this is smart.
