The following data are from institutional
responses to NASPAA’s Fall 2007 Enrollment and Academic Year 2006-2007
Degrees Awarded Survey, administered by NASPAA in spring 2008. The data
reflect only participating NASPAA
institutional members. Of the 264 NASPAA institutional members as of
spring 2008, 161 responded to the survey as of July 1, 2008, giving the
survey a response rate of 61%. Of the 161
respondents, members offered a total of 50 doctoral degrees.

NASPAA institutional members. Of the 264 NASPAA institutional members as of

response rate of 61%.However, some institutions did not provide the information on diversity of
students awarded master’s degrees in the academic year 2005-2006.
Of the 161 respondents, members offered a total of
50 doctoral
degrees. Of the
50 respondents offering a doctoral degree, 37 responded to the
gender question and 30 responded to the race/ethnicity question.
