The goals of NISPAcee (Network of Institutes and Schools of Public Administration in Central and Eastern Europe) are to improve public policy making and administration; to strengthen long-term cooperation among governments, academic institutions, and NGOs; to address social and economic needs; and to leverage this capacity in support of USAID goals in the region. NISPAcee, an NGO, leverages the resources of strong public administration programs that have developed in the region to assist in the linkage of academic institutions with public officials to work collaboratively on addressing public policy problems. NASPAA faculty provide technical support for the project and help engage Central and Eastern Europe and NIS public administration institutions in the training and development process.
