Description

This project facilitated an idea exchange between the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and the Universidad Casa Grande to design and implement a Master's Degree Program in Political Science and Public Management. 

Need  

The city of Guayaquil needed to form a group of local leaders in public administration and social science with an emphasis in contemporary public management, decentralization, integration, and globalization.

Objective  

To design and implemen the first Master's Program in Political Science and Public Management in the city of Guayaquil

Accomplishments  

The design of a Master's Degree Program integrated with Political Science and Public Management.

The strengthening of international partnerships between universities, including the Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, the Department of Political Science at New York University, Columbia University, and the Universidad Externado de Colombia.
