Project Title

Regulatory Policies in the Field of Transportation: The International Experience

Description

The analysis of international experience in the area of regulation as it relates to public policy and transportation. 

Need  

The better understanding of the historical context and implication of the transportation system in Brazil as it relates to other countries' transportation systems and practices 

 Objectives  

The analysis of historical implications of the transportation system.

The creation of a  setting for discussion, study, research  and analysis among the experts of transportation 

Accomplishments  

Workshop on Transportation Regulatory Policies

Presentation of the project at the 7th Congress of CLAD in fall 2002

Three papers based on research findings

EBAPE/FGV  published and distributed a paper to state and national agencies related to public transportation
