enjoy the teamwork and the analysis of fiscal
and non-fiscal incentives to local industries. |

| Why did you choose to pursue an MPA/MPP degree? | ||
| First
of all, my decision was made due to a
scholarship offered by the Chihuahua State. UTEPīs
MPA program seemed adequate to improve my
bureaucracy skills. |
||

| How did you select your graduate school? | ||
| The
first factor was the opportunity to continue
working at the border between Mexico and US in
order to keep a balance between labor experience
and education. |
||

| How do you feel your MPA/MPP is helping you to make a difference? | ||
| I
am responsible for determining some fiscal and
non-fiscal incentives for industries established
in the State. The MPA program has given me a
holistic approach to determining conflicts of
interests that may bias this process. Also, it
has given me the expertise and skills to
research and present findings at a different
level. |
