||
| What do you enjoy about your job? What aspects of your job are the most exciting or interesting? | ||
| As
a professor I enjoy independent thinking. [It is] a
wonderful experience to observe different organizations
and think about the processes and results. The most
exciting aspects of my job include coming to different
countries, talking to different people around the world,
and publishing good articles in prestigious journals. |
||
|
|
||
| Why did you choose to pursue an MPA/MPP degree? | ||
| After
I did several research projects related to the business
sector in China, I thought the reason why Chinese
business didn’t make progress is the administrative
system. Therefore, I transferred to study Public
Administration in order to find solutions for China’s
economic development. |

|
||
| How did you select your graduate school? | ||
| I
selected the graduate school according to its academic
ranking and my research interests. I recommend selecting
the school only if you are interested in the program. |
||
|
|
||
| How do you feel your MPA/MPP is helping you to make a difference? | ||
| I
think the communications and debates between MPA faculty
and classmates helped me change my ways of thinking. If
I only stayed in one place for one career, I would
become one short-sight person. I feel proud to be
involved in different programs and experiences. For
example, through the program I made progress in the
research of e-government, and the World Economic Forum
selected me as an Young Global Leader. |
