Steve Sarkozy

Steve Sarkozy is the current City Manager of Bellevue, Washington and has served in this capacity since December 2000. As city manager he oversees all city operations, supporting city initiatives, including encouraging economic development and promoting the Sister Cities program. Steve was named a Bush Leadership Fellow in 1994 by the Bush Foundation and completed executive mid career training with funding from this program. Steve is an active member of the International City Management Association (ICMA), serving on the Strategic Planning Committee from 1999-2001 and as the Liaison to Committee on Accreditation of Parks and Recreation Agencies from 1999-2003. Steve is also a member of the American Society of Public Administration. He has a Master of Public Administration from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs, Syracuse University and a BS in Public Administration and Economics from Miami University in Ohio.
