Kathleen Sebelius

Kathleen Sebelius has been the 21st U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services since her Senate confirmation in 2009. She was in her second term as Governor of Kansas, only the state's second female governor. She was elected in 2002 after serving as Kansas' Insurance Commissioner and as a state legislator.

Sebelius earned an MPA degree from the University of Kansas in 1977, and attended college at Trinity University in Washington, DC.  A full biography is available here.
