John Michael McConnell

Former US Director of National Intelligence

Mike McConnell was the nation's second Director of National Intelligence. Prior to his nomination McConnell served as a Senior Vice President at the consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. He also served as Director of the National Security Agency and as a member of the Director of Central Intelligence senior leadership team. Prior to this service McConnell also worked as the Intelligence Officer for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Secretary of Defense. In 1996, McConnell retired as a Vice Admiral in the U.S. Navy after 29 years of service. McConnell received his Masters in Public Affairs from the George Washington University.
