The National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) offers International Associate Membership to academic programs in public and private institutions outside the United States of America that are related to public administration, public policy, nonprofit management, or related fields and that subscribe to the purpose of NASPAA (and to associations of such programs).

Decisions on the eligibility of applicants for international associate membership shall be made by the NASPAA Executive Council. International associate membership does not mean that a program is accredited by NASPAA or that NASPAA has made any judgment about the quality of the international associate member’s program. International associate members may be eligible to receive guidance on improving their public affairs education programs.

There are two levels for international associate member annual dues:

• For academic programs in countries that are original members of OECD (Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxemburg, New Zealand, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and the United Kingdom) (and for associations of such programs with headquarters in one of these countries), dues are $300 US annually; and
• For programs in all other countries, dues are $150 US annually.
